Google has stated openly that these results directly affect the positioning of web pages in its search engine. It is so important that Google developed this free tool so that users can test and improve their web pages.
These results also greatly impact a website's conversions (actions taken on a website such as buying, contacting, etc.). Getting poor (below 60) or suboptimal (below 90) results in some of these areas indicates that the website is not properly optimized and has potential for improvement.
